| Cathay Pigments Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the Colour Industry, being ranked as 3rd largest manufacturer of synthetic Iron Oxides. Cathay Pigments Group was originally formed from an amalgamation of four international Iron Oxides companies and has since grown through acquisitions and new members joining the group.
Iron Oxide is our current core business with a total of four joint venture factories spread out in the Zhejiang and Shanghai area and additional processing facilities in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Australia, Germany and United Kingdom. The total capacity of the factories can produce approximately 55,000 metric tones per year. A new manufacture plant in WuXi (Jiansu province) will be finished in 2006-2007 and at that time our production capacity will increase to about 70,000 metric tones per year.
Cathay Pigments Group also manufactures Organic Pigments and Dyestuffs by joint ventures, toll manufacturing and technological agreements with producers spread out in the Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiansu, Hebei and Shenyang provinces, with state-of-the-art plants for the manufacturing of Food Dyes and Pigment Dispersions in Jia Ding (Shanghai province) and Shekou (Shenzhen).
We are now selling our products over the world and we have branch and sales offices in many countries including United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Australia, Southern Africa and sales office in Asian countries. In the coming future, Cathay Pigments Group will still continuously develop the colour business in different countries and expand our sales market over the world.
